When you’re thinking about the best holiday deals or planning that annual family holiday, where does your mind go to? With the economy the way it is, my first thoughts go straight to cost. I don’t think I am alone here, so I did some research on fun and exciting things to do and see at an affordable price.

Finding the Best Holiday Deals

There are many possibilities to make this holiday one to remember. Let’s start off with finding the best holiday deals. If you live on either side of the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean or next to any large body of water, you have leg up on the rest of the world.

These places offer some of the best family holiday deals you can find, and these deals can be found almost any time a year. One of the best deals I have found was in the Pacific Northwest at Ocean Shores, Washington.

I checked out the Shilo Inn and found one of the spectacular winter holiday deals. I got a room for one third of the normal price and all their rooms face the ocean. The key to this deal was asking for it. Ocean Shores had a lot to offer as well. There were great little shops and you can drive right onto the beach.

Let’s go to a place that is almost always sunny, has a great temperature and little rain, usually on the plain. Spain offers all the ingredients for a great family holiday deals. I know from personal experience that a holiday in Spain is an ideal location for a relaxing break where you do not need much and just about everything goes right for a change.

Holiday Deals With Disney

Another great place to find some of the best holiday deals especially for the kids, is Disney theme parks. You have so many to choose from now. Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is one of the most visited vacation complexes in the world.

If you are looking for family holiday deals, Walt Disney World Resort Is the world’s largest entertainment complex and is located in Orlando, Florida, USA. The complex consists of four theme parks, two water parks, 23 Hotels and numerous restaurants, shops and entertainment.

And let’s not forget about Tokyo Disney Resort. It is a leisure complex and resort in the Japanese city Urayasu. The resort was opened on 15 April 1983 as a single theme park. Meanwhile, it developed into a resort with two theme parks, four hotels and two shopping complexes. Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney theme park outside the USA.

Disneyland Resort Paris – the resort includes two theme parks – the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios – As well as hotels and a golf course and was established on March 31, 1992. Get on board! Disney Cruise Line has two Cruise Ships That Disney Magic and Disney Wonder and a private island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort designed for the whole family is one of the best leisure complex of Walt Disney Company who opened the 12 September 2005 in the territory of Hong Kong on the island of Lantau. The complex includes a theme park, Hong Kong Disneyland the image of Disneyland, Two hotels, a shopping area and leisure center.

All the places I mentioned above are great examples of a premier holiday. Most of them are affordable if your travel doesn’t require flight. Unfortunately flying to a destination will still be the major cost involved.  But don’t give up. I hope to be back soon with some more great holiday deals.
